Turning on the Power

To save power, the LCD monitor turns off automatically if you do not
operate the camera. If you continue to not operate the camera, the power
will turn off automatically. While the LCD monitor is off, operation such as
pressing a button will turn on the LCD monitor again. If the power turns off,
either press the power button or press the <
x
> for at least approx. 2 sec.
to turn on the power again.

You can change the LCD monitor auto off time and camera auto off time
with [
LCD auto off ] and [ Camera auto off ] under [

Power-saving Features
Do not hold the camera in the same position for long periods of time.
Even if the camera does not feel too hot, prolonged contact with the same body
part may cause skin redness, blistering or low-temperature contact burns. The
use of a tripod is recommended for people with circulation problems or very
sensitive skin, or when using the camera in very hot places.
