7. Tips on Using the Image Stabilizer

The image stabilizer is effective particularly for hand-held shots under the following conditions.

Dimly lit scenes, such as at dusk or indoors

Locations such as art galleries or theater
stages where flash photography is forbidden

Situations in which your footing is uncertain

If you are taking continuous shots of a moving
subject

If you are tracking an erratically moving
subject

* MODE 1 should be used in all other situations.
