IMPORTANT

If the main power indicator on the control panel does not light even though the main power switch is ON, 
be sure to check the breaker to see if it is OFF. (See "When the Power Does Not Turn ON," in the 
Reference Guide.)

The screens are displayed while the 
system software is loading.

If login authentication by a login service (SDL 
(Simple Device Login) or SSO (Single 
Sign-on))  is not set, and an application other 
than MEAP is selected as the initial function in 
Common Settings (from the Additional Func-
tions screen):

The Start Up screen is displayed until the machine is 
ready to scan.

The screen is displayed when the machine is ready 
to scan.

The machine is ready to scan in approximately 45 
seconds (at a room temperature of 20°C) after the 
screen above appears.
