Customizing the Camera (My
Camera Settings)

My Camera allows you to customize the
start-up image and start-up, operation, self-
timer and shutter sounds. Each menu item
has three choices.

As default settings, My Camera setting

has a

science fiction theme and My Camera setting

has an animal theme.

Changing My Camera Settings

Press the MENU
button.

The [

(Rec.)] or

[

(Play)] menu

appears.

Example:

Start-up image

Select the [

(My

Camera)] menu
pressing the

button twice and select a menu
item using the

button.

Select the
contents you wish
to set using the

button.

Press the MENU button.

The menu closes and settings are activated.

In Shooting mode, the menu can be closed by
pressing the shutter button halfway.

If you select [Theme] in step

, you can

select a consistent theme for each of the My
Camera settings.

If [Mute] in the [

(Set up)] menu is set to

[On], no sound is reproduced except for the
warning signal regardless of the selected
My Camera settings (p. 74). The Start-up
image displays.
