Searching for Access Points
The camcorder will automatically detect access points in the vicinity. After you select the desired access point,
you only need to enter the selected network’s password to connect the camcorder. For details about the access
point’s network name (SSID) and password, refer to the wireless router’s instruction manual or consult the
network administrator in charge of the access point.
1 After you s elect [ S earch for Acce ss Point s ], the camcorder will s earch for active acce ss point s in the
vicinity and di s play a li s t of available option s on the s creen.
2 Touch the de s ired acce ss point.
• Drag your finger up/down or touch [

] to scroll up/down.
• If the access point is not encrypted (

icon is not displayed), continue with the procedure to configure the IP
address assignment (

3 If nece ss ary (depending on the acce ss point' s encryption), touch one of the button s to s elect the
WEP index.
4 Enter the encryption k ey (pa ss word).
