Moving the AF Frame
When the shooting mode is ,

, the AF frame can
be moved manually to the desired area (Active Frame Control).

The AF frame appears in green.

the face of the subject, press
the MENU button.

Move the AF frame to the position you wish

The AF frame will move back to its original position (center),
if you hold down the
button.

When the Spot AE Point is selected as the metering mode,
you can use the selected Spot AE Point as the AF frame
(p. 78).

Selection cannot be made while in the manual focus mode

The position of the AF frame returns to the center once the
power is turned off or the lens is retracted in playback mode
