SmartSense Battery
Status LED
Status LED
The Status LED (8) is the top LED
closest to the battery button .
When the SmartSense system is turned
on, the status LED will operate in the
following manner:
• Active = Two blue flashes every 5
• Sleep = One blue flash every 10
seconds

• Battery level low = Two red flashes
every 5 seconds
• System Error = solid red
• Firmware transferring = blue
flashing
• Firmware updating = purple solid,
purple flashing
• Firmware installed successfully =
10 blue flashes
• Firmware update failed = 10 red
flashes
LEDS
The four LEDs (3) located under the
battery button (2) indicate the current
battery charge level. Press the battery
button (2) momentarily and the LEDs
will light up green for 3 seconds, to
indicate the battery charge level.
The charge level is defined as:
• 4 green LEDS - 100% charge
• 3 green LEDS - 75% charge
• 2 green LEDS - 50% charge
• 1 green LED - 25% charge
