Method/Test Settings
Method templates are stored in the registry of the CAV 4.2. When an instance of VISCPRO II connects
with a CAV 4.2, those method templates are pushed to VISCPRO II. Any changes made to the method
templates in VISCPRO II are synchronized with the CAV 4.2. No method templates are permanently
stored with VISCPRO II.
All method templates have the same set of fields. However, when the
Verify Known KV
method is
applied to a sample test, the
Check Standard KV
value is added to the information set for that test. The
Verify Known KV method must be used when running sample test for calibration.
Print Method Settings
•
For
VISCPRO II
:
select

window opens.

Select the methods to print.
Shift-left-click
—to select a contiguous range of entries;
Ctrl-left-click
—to select multiple entries.

Click
OK
. The print dialog box opens.

CAV 4.2 GUI
: navigate to the appropriate
Bath Screen
, click
Methods.
•
Select the method. Click
Export
, and follow the on-screen instruction to export the method
settings as a text file to a USB drive.
Edit method settings
•
For
VISCPRO II
:
select
Configure > [
instrument group
] > [
instrument
] > Method Settings
. The
Select Methods
window opens.

Select the tube and method to edit.
•
Click
OK
. The
Method Settings
dialog box opens.
•
For
CAV 4.2 GUI
: navigate to the appropriate
Bath Screen

Methods.

Select the method to edit. See Table 23–Table 26.
