THE INSTRUCTIONS WHEN INSTALLING AND USING THE HUMIDIFIER TO AVOID
DAMAGE AND INJURY.
1.WARNING:
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
2.Use the appliance only for its intended purpose and as described in the user manual. If you use the
appliance in a manner other than its intended use, there is a risk of damage that could lead to serious
injury. Any damage caused by non-observance of these instructions will void the warranty.
3.This product is intended for household use ONLY and not for commercial, industrial or outdoor use.
4.The appliance is not intended for use by children under 16 years of age. Keep the appliance and its
cord out of reach of children.
5.This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Keep the device and cable out of the
reach of children under 8 years of age. Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by
unattended children.
6.Never turn on the humidifier when there is no water in the tank. Always have water in the water tank
when operating the unit.
7.Never touch the water in the water tank or the components in water when the appliance is into
operation mode.
8.Use only clean, cool tap water to fill the tank. For water with a high lime content, the use of distilled
water is highly recommended. NEVER add fragrance or oil in the water, it will cause the appliance
malfunction and brokenness.
9.Be sure that the cap of the water tank is firmly tightened.
10.When adding water to the tank, make sure water does not enter the mist output opening. Never
allow water to enter the indoor unit to prevent component damage.
11.Do not add medication of any type into the nozzle, base or water tank.
12.Do not cover any openings on the unit or insert objects into any openings.
13.Do not tilt, tip or overturn the appliance, nor try to empty or fill it while it is operating. Do not shake
the appliance -this may cause access of water to the main body and lead to damages. Do not remove
the water tank while the appliance is running.
14.Use only in rooms with low humidity at home
– living room, bedroom. Do not use the humidifier in
the bathroom or in sauna.
15.The nozzle of the humidifier, responsible for spreading the mist, must not be pointed towards
children, walls and furniture.
16.Do not leave the appliance unattended in closed rooms, as the air may become saturated and
leave condensation on walls and furniture. Always leave the room door/window partially open.
17.Place the humidifier only on solid, levelled and horizontal surfaces, away from direct sunlight and
other heat sources ( cookers, heaters, open fires, and other electric appliances).
18.Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket. Always make sure that the plug is inserted
into the wall socket properly.
19.Use only a 220V AC outlet.
20.Check if the voltage indicated on the bottom of the appliance corresponds to the local mains
voltage before you connect the appliance.
21.Before use check the supply cord for any damages. If you find such, do not use the appliance.
22.When the supply cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer or authorized
service, in order to avoid damage.
