4. Replace the compartment cover again.
IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR THE BATTERIES:
1. The batteries must be handled by an adult. Do not allow children to play with the batteries.
2. Always remove the exhausted batteries and do not throw them away with the household waste, but at the
designated places. They are recyclable.
3. Use batteries AAA size only .
4.Alkaline batteries are recommended.
5. Always replace all of the batteries, when you replace them with new. Children should not be present when
you replace the batteries.
6. Always place the batteries correctly according to the polarity marked on the battery compartment. If they
are not placed correctly, this may lead to short circuit or explosion.
7. Do not mix old with new batteries.
8. Do not mix alkaline with standard (Carbon – Zinc), or with rechargeable (Nickel – Cadmium) batteries.
9. Do not put the batteries in fire, as this may lead to explosion or leakage.
10. If you are not going to use the appliance for a long time, unplug the adaptor from the sender/ receiver and
take out the batteries from both of the appliances in order to avoid leakage and corrosion as an after-effect.
11. The non-rechargeable batteries, should not be recharged.
13. If there are chargeable batteries included in the set, the Units shall be used and charged under adult
supervision only.

TESTING OF THE PRODUCT BEFORE USE
1. Test before usage the transmission of the sender and the signal of the receiver, by:
-Set both Parent and Baby Unit to the same channel (1 or 2) by switching the channel switch. (See
“COMPONENTS OF THE BABY MONITOR”).
2. Place the sender in the room, in which it will be used (at least 1 meter away from the child). Place the
“SENSITIVITY” switch in position NORM in order to turn on the sender. The power indicator will turn on (Check
the table bellow).
•
Place the receiver in the room, in which you will be or it will be used. Switch the volume control button in
order to turn on the parents’ unit. The indicating light will turn on (See the table bellow).
•
Light of sound level indicator lights when sound is received.
•
One or two dots light for shallow sound received. Three or more dots light for louder sound received.
•
When you experience interference (buzzing or static, etc.), switch both units to the alternative channel.
