These vehicles are equipped with a
VRLA battery (Valve Regulated Lead
Acid). It is a maintenance-free type
battery, there is no need to add water
to adjust electrolyte level.

4. Remove battery from vehicle.

1. Clean battery, battery casing, ca-

bles and battery posts using a sol-
ution of baking soda and water.

2. Remove corrosion from battery ca-

ble terminals and battery posts us-
ing a firm wire brush. Battery top
should be cleaned using a soft
brush and any grease-cutting soap
or baking soda solution.

3. Apply

dielectric

grease

or

an

equivalent

product

on

battery

posts to protect against oxidation.

seat in the service compartment. Re-
move the seat to access the fuse
holder.

1. Fuse holder

To remove fuse from holder, unclip
and remove holder cover then pull
fuse out. Check if filament is melted.
