5.1 Measurements
Features
•
To compute carbon dioxide, water vapor, and sensible heat fluxes using
the eddy-covariance method, the EC155 measures:
o
carbon dioxide mixing ratio
o
water vapor mixing ratio
o
three-dimensional wind speed (requires CSAT3A)
o
sonic air temperature (requires CSAT3A)
o
sample-cell temperature
o
sample-cell pressure
o
barometric pressure
These measurements are required to compute carbon dioxide and water vapor
fluxes using the:
