6. Click Connect. The radio Status LED will turn yellow. After several seconds, a screen similar

(p. 35) will appear:

7. Click Factory Defaults to return the RF407 settings to the factory defaults.
8. Set the Active Interface to USB.
9. Click Apply.
10. Leave the USB cable connected to the USB port of the RF407 and the computer.
Device Configuration Utility
makes applying the same settings to multiple devices easy. Once
settings are configured for one device, click Apply to save your changes; a summary screen
similar to
(p. 36) will be shown. Click Save to save a configuration file. This file can
then be used to load the settings into another radio. Click Read File to load the settings in
Device
Configuration Utility
. Then click Apply to save your changes to load the settings into the radio.
