Thermistor: Measurement of the thermistor electrical resistance in ohms (Ω).
Click Save Last Results to save the results of the test to a binary file (*.bin). This file can
be sent to Campbell Scientific support personnel (or to others) and then opened in
Device Configuration Utility
using the Offline Analysis tab that is shown when not
connected to the CRVW3. This will allow others to assess the condition of your sensor
measurement in detail. Click Export to save the results of the test into a text file.
9. Use the Terminal tab to make a terminal mode connection to the CRVW3. This is typically
used under the direction of Campbell Scientific support personnel. See
75) for more information.
7.7 Validating radio connectivity in the lab
For CRVW3 devices with the –RF451/RF452 or –RF407 option, verify that the radio is working and
has been configured for field operation.
7.7.1 Validating CRVW3–RF451/RF452 radio connectivity
When using CRVW3–RF451/RF452 devices, the simplest way to confirm radio connectivity is to
use an RF451/RF452 radio connected to your lab computer. The RF451/RF452 operates as the
gateway radio device and the base station. The CRVW3–RF451/RF452 device is configured as an
endpoint device. See the
for more details about gateway/endpoint radio
configurations and base station considerations.
