Once scheduled collection has been configured and activated, you can open the
Status Monitor
application in
LoggerNet
to ensure that
LoggerNet
is
connecting with each station and that its data is being collected properly. To

11. Operation of CRVW3 Networks
Once your CRVW3 stations, repeaters, and base station are deployed and
operating, and
LoggerNet
can connect with and collect from each station, your
attention should turn to the operation of your CRVW3 network. Most of this
work is done using
LoggerNet
and related tools. The data collection process is
one of the most important operational activities that occurs on your network.

11.1 Monitoring Automatic Data Collection
Most CRVW3 devices that have been configured to be part of a radio network
will also be part of an automatic collection schedule that is executed by
LoggerNet
. For more information about configuring
LoggerNet
to use
automatic data collection, see Section
(p. 87)
.
In order for automatic data collection to occur, the
LoggerNet
toolbar n must be
running (or the
LoggerNet Service
must be started in the case of
LoggerNet
Admin
installations). Use the
LoggerNet
Status Monitor
to assess the
connectivity and collection status for all of the CRVW3 devices on your
network. The
Status Monitor
shows whether
LoggerNet
is connecting with
each station and whether that station’s data is being collected properly. To
open
Status Monitor
