FT-285 Triad Fountain
Two people are recommended for the installation of this fountain!

Assemble your fountain on a level surface capable of holding a minimum of 464 pounds with an approximate 1.5 square foot
footprint.

1.
Place the base (FT-285E) into position where the fountain will be installed,
ensuring that it is level.
2.
Center the basin (FT-285C) on the base (FT-285E)
3.
Assemble the pump kit
a.
NOTE: All pumps come with 1 adapter already inserted into the
pump and 2 adapters secured to the power cord.
i.
This fountain uses the medium adapter provided.
b.
Using a hose clamp, attach the 12” piece of 1/2” non-kink tubing to
the pump outlet.
c.
Place the stopper around the pump cord approximately 8” from the
pump.
4.
Feed the pump cord through the hole in the basin (FT-285C) and through the
channel in the bottom of the base (FT-285E).
5.
FIRMLY
press the stopper into the hole evenly.
a.
Note: Using the handle of a screwdriver or hammer works best to
press the stopper in place.
6.
Center the water feature (FT-285A) over the pump kit and stopper hole.
7.
Fit the 5/8” clear end of the tubing over the CPVC pipe protruding from the
bottom of the water feature (FT-285A).
a.
Note: You can do this step without holding the water feature over
the basin and after you level it
8.
Spread a thin bead of silicone where the spiller will be placed in the water
feature (FT-285A) by creating a rectangular shape that boarders just the
narrow channel.
9.
Press the spiller into place ensuring that the bent part overhangs the water
feature.
a.
Note: Clean away any excess silicone.
10.
Place the water control plate (FT-285B) over the pipe in the top of the water
feature (FT-285A).
11.
Fit the pump cover door (FT-285D) into the pump cover (FT-285C).
12.
Let the fountain sit 24 hours before filling with water.
