Use and maintenance manual – Instructions
Original instructions Rev.: 00, Date 11/04/2022
NOTE!
The bar can be mounted in any position, even if the Campagnola logo is upside down.
IMPORTANT!
When the chain (1) is new, have it run at low speed for a few minutes before starting to cut, so that
the oil can reach all parts of chain (1) and bar (2).
The first cuts must be light, avoiding heavy pressure and making sure that there is plenty of oil. Make sure
that the chain, bar and pinion warm up completely and check the tension of the chain and adjust it if neces-
sary.
4.1.2 Chain tension adjustment
CAUTION!
Remove the battery from the tool before performing any work on it.
Injury hazard is still present in case of involun-
tary operation.
CAUTION!
The teeth of the chain are sharp, put on protective gloves before starting.
Perform the following operations in order to adjust chain tension:
1.
Turn off the tool with the ON / OFF button (9) and remove the battery pack (21) by pressing on the flaps (22)
2.
Loosen the nut (3) that secures the casing so that the bar can shift freely.
3.
Turn the adjustment screw (4) clockwise, until the chain adapts perfectly to the lower part of the bar (2) and can
be detached from the bar by approximately 2-4 mm when lifted.
4.
Lock the nut (3) after performing this adjustment by turning it clockwise.
