2.1.2 General precautions
WARNING!
•
Do not operate, service or repair the equipment, if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, which could
impair your alertness or co-ordination.
•
Only well trained and qualified personnel, who have read this Use and Maintenance Manual carefully, are allowed
to use the tool.
•
Keep children and animals away from the tool.
•
Do not alter the safety and protective devices and the warranty seals.
•
The operator is the only responsible for injuries caused to other people or for damages caused to their belong
ings.
•
The tool shall be used for the purposes described in par. ‘Product Description’ only. Other uses could cause
injuries and/or damages.
•
The shipment of the product with its components shall comply with the UN3091 - class 9 - packing group 2 rule.
Any other displacement of the tool and of its components shall prevent battery, engine and electronic card from
hits and damages.
•
Keep the tool in a dry place.
1 - INTRODUCTION
1.5 Warranty
•
CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. grants a 1 or 2 years’ warranty, according to the kind of product, starting from the purchase date
indicated in the invoice or in any other document with legal value.
•
The warranty is to be considered valid only if the installation and use of the products have been carried out according to
the indications in the Use and Maintenance Manual or to written instructions by the Authorized Service Points personnel.
•
Parts with manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
•
Labour and transport costs are excluded from the warranty.
•
All the parts subject to wear (belts, filters, blades, seals, etc.) are excluded from the warranty
•
Costs of interventions performed by the manufacturer’s personnel (inspections, disassembling and assembling opera-
tions), caused by a wrong use of the product, are not included in the warranty.
•
The manufacturer’s technical service personnel will indicate which replacements and/or repairs will be carried out under
warranty, and their decision is final.
•
The Company shall not be held responsible for any injury or damage caused to people, animals or things, due to improper
use or maintenance of the products. The warranty is limited to the manufacturing defects.
•
The warranty gets void in case of tampering and/or even small changes carried out without the manufacturer’s technical
staff permission and in case of use of non-original spare parts.
•
In any case the replacement of the product is not included in the warranty.
WARNING!
For warranty claims, according to the above mentioned points, it is necessary to enclose the warranty card, properly
filled in, and the corresponding document with the date of purchase (invoice or any other document with legal value).
