Trouble shooting
How to solve malfunctions.
A sound appears when opening the Sensor
cover. The blue LED is flashing and turning off
without having the chance to place your finger
on the sensor.
When using the system the first time, the control
box will be empty. That is the reason why the sound
appears.
The finger templates can not be deleted. BAC-20: Please make sure that the data have not
been deleted already.
BAC-40: If this system is set on Plus-Mode, you can
not delete the data on the control box directly.
Trouble with connected external systems and
other devices.
Please check the power supply.
The reader is not working. Please check the RS-485 cable connection between
both units.
Door opener is not reacting on inner touch
sensor.
Please check that Out 1 is correctly connected with
the control box.
The blue LED of the reader is not working and
there appears no sound while opening and
closing the sensor cover.
The connection between reader and controller seems
to be broken. Please re-check.
The System doesn‘t react anymore. You are not
able to enrol or delete a new finger template.
Please do hardware reset (page 17). If this does not
help, please check the power supply.
