Mounting the NIDU 

Mount the NIDU in the equipment building, either in a rack or on a horizontal surface:

Racking mounting option: fix the NIDU to the rack mount using the M3 screws from the 
rack mount installation kit (

Figure 125)

. The rack can hold either two NIDUs or one NIDU 

and one PTP-SYNC unit.

Horizontal option: place the NIDU on a horizontal surface.
