Clean the device and the ventilation slots with a dry, lint-free cloth.
The device is maintenance-free. However, if any faults do occur, please
proceed according to the following table:
Procedures in the event of faults
Fault Action
The 12 volt output
is not supplied
with power in
mains operation. Check that the female device plug for firm connection.
Press in the button of the 230V circuit breaker.
Observe adequate ventilation of unit. Check that ventila-
tion slots on housing are unobstructed. The overloading
of the mains supply unit when on mains operation can
overheat the unit. The power issued must not exceed the
maximum output power of 50 W.
The 12 V output is
not supplied with
power in battery
operation. Check the 10A back-up fuse of the battery. Check the flat
plug and the cable at the 12 V input to see that they are
seated properly. Check the charge state of the battery.
Short circuit on
12V output
(consumer). Disconnect the cable at the 12 V output, and rectify the
short circuit. Check the 10A back-up fuse of the battery
in battery operation. When operating from the mains,
check the 230V circuit breaker of the mains supply unit.
None of the faults
described here
seems to apply.
