Electrical connections
The 789835 prepayment kit enables the functions of the HIU when the output potential-free
contact is open. According to the functioning logic of the external prepayment unit, the
electrical connection of the dedicated wire from the electronic controller of the HIU will have
to be carried out as described below:
External prepayment unit that provides 230 V (ac) power supply when credit is available
“Normally closed” connection.
The voltage-free contact will be therefore closed (disabled HIU) with no electric supply to the
code 789835 kit (credit unavailability condition).
External prepayment unit that DOESN’T provide power supply when credit is available
“Normally open” connection.
The voltage-free contact will be therefore closed (disabled HIU) when 230 V (ac) electrical
supply to the code 789835 kit is present (credit unavailability condition).
