Calculations
The
NautiCalc Plus
can perform math
functions using units of speed and dis-
tance. Some points to remember while
performing these calculations are:
1) When adding a list of numbers with
the same unit designator (i.e., miles),
only the first value entered requires a
designator. The same is true when
subtracting two numbers.
2) Mixing speed and distance units will
result in an error due to the difference
in dimensions. For example, you can-
not mix knots and miles; knots is a
speed and miles is a distance.
3) Conversion can only be performed
within the same types of dimensions.
For example, hours can be converted
to minutes, minutes to seconds, etc.
