GSM Band selection is as follows:
Band Selection
: Configures the unit to operate on only the selected bands if available. We
recommend leaving this on “ALL.”
ALL –
All available bands will be accessible, commonly called autoband (default)
WCDMA 2100 - Uses the 2100MHz frequency band used by the UMTS/HSDPA networks
EGSM -
Uses the 900/1800 MHz European GSM frequency band
ALL GSM -
Can use any available GSM band. Europe (900/1800MHz) or USA (850/1900MHz)
ALL WCDMA -
Can use any available WCDMA band, 850/900/2100 MHz in UMTS/HSDPA networks
Carrier APN
: The Access Point Name provided by the cellular provider required to access the
network.
Dial Number
: Field to input the phone number to initiate a data connection to the cellular provider
via PPP. The default dial number is ATD*99***1#.
User
: Field to input the username required by the cellular provider. Leave this field blank if a user
name is not required by your cellular provider.
Password
: Field to input the password required by the cellular provider. Leave blank if a password
is not required by your cellular provider.
The
SAVE
button must be pressed for changes to take effect.
