Basic operation
Here’s how to record digital audio data from your computer to a digital audio device.

[SAMPLE RATE] Switch
Set to match the sample rate of your digital recording device and the sample rate of your
playback software.
* After changing the [SAMPLE RATE] switch setting, you must disconnect the UA-1G’s USB
cable from your computer and then reconnect it.
Other points
• Don’t connect anything to jacks that you’re not using.
• The UA-1G does not support the audio format used by professional digital audio devices.
• The UA-1G is not able to mix the input signals from the various input jacks with the digital
audio signal received at the MIC (PLUG-IN POWERED) / DIGITAL IN jack and output the
mixed signal from the PHONES/DIGITAL OUT jack.
Recording digital audio from your computer to a digital device
Set to a sample rate that can be recorded by your recording
device (e.g., MD player).
Set this to match the sample rate of the audio data you’re
playing or the sample rate of your software.
