3.2 Warranty
Our legal department wants you to know that the warranties presented
herein are applicable exclusively to the consumers, who are natural persons
purchasing the 16” bike described in this manual (“the product”) for purposes
that fall within the scope of their commercial, industrial, artisanal or liberal
activity. In plain English, that means that you shouldn’t use it as anything
else than a kids 16” bike.
All products are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and/
or workmanship for the duration indicated in the table below, from the date
of purchase and valid only for the original owner. This warranty applies only
to the original owner and cannot be transferred to a subsequent owner,
unless otherwise provided by law in your country.
The warranty may be implemented to obtain either the replacement or the
repair of the item in question, subject to the express presentation of the proof
of purchase and a warranty claim exercised within the time limits indicated
below, in the absence of any situation excluding the warranty. The choice
between replacement and repair may belong either to the customer or to
CAKE depending on the legal provisions applicable in your country. In the
absence of any mandatory legal provision to the contrary, this choice is left
to the discretion of CAKE.
Products purchased used, second hand, or received as a gift do not
qualify for this warranty.
