When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce risk of fire, electrical shock
and injury to persons, including the following:
· Please read all instructions before using the Work ‘n Play Drying Station.
· Use this Drying Station for intended use, as described in this User Manual.
· To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse unit, plug or cord in water
or spray with liquids.
· Close supervision is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or
disabled persons.
· Always unplug heater when not in use.
· Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the
appliance to an authorized service facility for examination, repair, or electrical
or mechanical adjustment.
· Do not use outdoors, always use on a dry surface. This appliance is not
intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations.
Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
· Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord. Arrange the cord
away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
· To disconnect the appliance, turn controls to the off position and then remove
the plug from the outlet, gripping the plug. Never pull on cord.
· Connect appliance to an appropriate electrical outlet, which meets the
electrical ratings as marked on the heater.
· Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust
opening as this may cause an electric shock, fire or damage to the appliance.
· To prevent a possible fire do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner.
Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed where openings may be blocked.
· This appliance has hot and arching or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in
areas where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are used or stored.
· Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat
and cause a risk of fire. However, if you have to use an extension cord, the
cord shall be rated not less than 500 watts.
· WARNING: This appliance has a polarized plug, as a safety feature and only
fits into the outlet one way. If the plug does not fully fit the outlet, reverse the
plug. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

How to Use
Position your Work ‘n Play Drying Station in a dry location indoors. Set your
boots/shoes/skates on the tray with the bottom of the shoe on the tray. Set your gloves
into the glove holders. Slide the extendable tubes into your boots/shoes/skates or into the
glove holder slots. Set the digital timer* to the desired drying time. Select either the Heat
or No Heat drying option. The No Heat drying option is recommended for drying
valuable leather footwear or custom liners.
*Timer: The timer can be set for up to 8 hours of drying time. Set it at increments of 15
minutes up to 1 hour, then 30 minutes increments up to 3 hours, then 60 minute
increments up to 8 hours.
Operating Instructions
Important: Insert extendable tubes into shoes/boots/skates or into glove drying hole in
base of tray and select desired dryer setting on the digital control.
Do not operate
appliance if the line cord shows any damage, or if appliance works intermittently or
stops working entirely.
Safety Features
This appliance is equipped with an overheat protector; if the internal temperature reaches
55ºC the appliance will automatically turn itself off. By unplugging the appliance and
letting the unit cool down, the overheat protector will reset. It is then safe for use again.
Caring for your Work ‘n Play Drying Station
Your Drying Station has been designed for many years of problem free operation. The
motor is permanently lubricated and does not require oiling. However, since this
appliance moves a high volume of air, it does require periodic cleaning. Always unplug
and turn your Drying Station off before cleaning. Using a vacuum cleaner hose to clean
the air intakes on the front grill. Always store your Drying Station in a dry place.
