11 SAFETY DEVICES AND ALARMS
11.1 SAFETY DEVICES
The product is supplied with the following safety devices
11.2 PRESSURE SWITCH
It controls pressure in the fume duct. It blocks the pellet feed screw in the following instances:
- clogged exhaust
- Significant negative (wind)
- clogged fume passages
- open pellet loading tank
- open fire door or worn/broken gaskets.
11.3 SMOKE TEMPERATURE PROBE
Detects the temperature of the smoke, thereby enabling start-up or stopping the product when the temperature drops below the
preset value.
11.4 CONTACT THERMOSTAT IN THE FUEL HOPPER
If the temperature exceeds the preset safety level, it immediately shuts down boiler operation.
11.5 ELECTRICAL SAFETY
The product is protected against sudden current surges by a main fuse in the power supply panel on the rear part of the product.
Other fuses that protect the electronic boards are found on the latter.
