3. Interface Description

The following sections provide detailed information on the Cactus Technologies -602 Series
Industrial SATA SSD interface.

3.1. SSD Pin Assignments and Pin Type

Cactus -602 Series SATA SSD uses industry standard 7+12 connector. The signal/pin
assignments are listed in Table 3-5.

3.2. Signal Description

Table 3-6 describes the I/O signals. Signals whose source is the host are designated as inputs
while signals that the SATA SSD sources are outputs. The SATA SSD signal levels conform to
those specified in the Serial ATA 2.6
