The T1/FT1 port provides a DSX-1 interface that includes a built in
Channel Service Unit/Digital Service Unit (CSU/DSU) for direct
connection to a T1 line. This port supports both Full T1 or Fractional T1
using 56 or 64 Kbps timeslots.
WAN Protocols
The BRIM-WT1 supports the following WAN protocols:
• Point to Point Protocol (LCP and BNCP), as defined by RFC1331
• Frame Relay (LMI), as defined by RFC1294

The MicroMMAC (with the BRIM-WT1 installed) supports the following
Wide Area Network IETF MIBs:
• RFC1406 (DS1 Connection Management)
• RFC1317 (RS232 Like Connection Management)
• RFC1471 draft (PPP Link)
• RFC1474 draft (PPP Bridge)
• RFC1315 (Frame Relay)
LANVIEW Diagnostic LEDs
Cabletron provides a visual diagnostic and monitoring system, called
LANVIEW, with the BRIM-WT1. LANVIEW LEDs help you quickly
identify Bridge and Link status.
