HSIM-F6 User’s Guide

9.

Press down firmly on the back of the HSIM until the pins slide all the 
way into the HSIM Connector.

10.

Secure the HSIM-F6 to the module faceplate using the mounting 
screws saved in 

step 5

.

11.

Secure the HSIM-F6 to the module standoffs using the standoff screws 
saved in 

step 6

.

12.

Reinstall the module in the chassis.

13.

Reattach the network cabling to the module.

Refer to 

Chapter 3

 for instructions on configuring the HSIM-F6 using 

Local Management.

NOTE

Ensure that the standoffs on the interface module align with the 
standoff screw holes on the HSIM.
