3.3 Changing the SSD Drive Format or Partition in Windows
The SDD is configured with the exFAT file system for compatibility with both Windows
and Mac. The file system or memory partition can be changed from the
Disk
Management
menu in Windows.
1) Search
Create and format
hard disk partitions
2) Select the Disk with the SSD
drive listing the exFAT partition
3) Right-click on the exFat
partition
4)
Select the NTFS file system
type and the partition size, if
needed
CAUTION !!

Select the external SSD,
NOT
the internal computer hard drive
•
Formatting the drive will erase any data on the SSD
•
Always use the
Safely
Remove
icon
from the taskbar before removing the
SSD to prevent damage to the drive
