TRIGGER & TRIGGER LOCK
The trigger turns the spray on and off. It can be continuously held for operation or
it can be locked in place with the trigger lock.
To Engage/Disengage the Trigger:
1. Gripping the handle at the rear, squeeze the trigger with your index finger
to initiate spraying.
2. For continuous spraying, you can continue to hold the trigger or you can lock
it in position by sliding the trigger lock rearward until an audible click is heard.
3. To stop spraying when the trigger is not locked, simply let go of the trigger.
If the trigger is locked, push forward on the trigger lock; releasing the trigger.
4.
Never store the sprayer with the trigger in the locked position.
INDICATOR LIGHT
There is a green indicator light on your unit that will illuminate when the unit is
spraying and your batteries are carrying a sufficient charge. This glowing green
light lets you know that the droplets leaving the gun are electrostatically charged.
The light will only illuminate once air is flowing through the sprayer.
NOTE: It is absolutely imperative that this green indicator light is illuminated
when you are spraying the product.
If the green indicator light is not illuminated, the droplets leaving the gun will not carry
a charge. If the indicator light fails to illuminate, stop what you are doing and replace
the battery pack or make sure that you are using only ByoPlanet
®
approved chemicals.
NOZZLE
The nozzle assembly is located at the end of the sprayer. It is composed of a nozzle
body, external O-ring, electrode flange, nozzle cover, liquid tip and electrode. These
are the only user serviceable components. To access the nozzle components,
unscrew the nozzle cover by hand. It is very important to follow all the maintenance
and cleaning procedures to ensure that the sprayer will function optimally.
NOTE: As the sprayer becomes dirty from typical use, solvent cleaning is
recommended on the outside surfaces. This discourages dripping from the
nozzle.
