Working modes of DM system (TANG DM)

1. EV mode button 2. MODE knob 3. HEV mode button

EV mode

■ EV mode: When the EV mode button is pressed, the EV mode button indicator will light up,

indicating that the vehicle is operating in the EV mode; if the indicator goes out a few

seconds after lighting up, it indicates that the powertrain cannot enter the EV mode. In the

EV mode, the vehicle is driven by the motors powered by the power battery.

■ Forced EV mode: To enter the forced EV mode, press and hold the EV mode button for

more than 3s. When the EV indicator on the instrument flashes continuously, it indicates that

the vehicle has run in the forced EV mode. The forced EV mode is designed to meet a user's

need to drive at a low speed for a short trip with motor drive only. As this mode runs with

insufficient SOC of the power battery, it is suggested that the vehicle be charged immediately

after a trip using this mode.
