Emergency
Emergency shut-down system
1. The following conditions are met, the emergency shutdown system will be activated and
the high voltage system will automatically shut down:
■
The airbag is not open after a frontal collision.
■
Some rear collisions.
■
Some vehicle systems are malfunctioning.
2. If the above collision or vehicle system failure occurs, the drive ready indicator (
“OK”
indicator) will turn off.
3. Because of these several collisions activate an emergency shutdown system that can
minimize the risk of accidents or injuries caused. Once the emergency shutdown system
is activated, the vehicle system will not be able to switch to a ready-to-drive state. It is
recommended that you contact the BYD Auto Authorized Service Store. The system
shuts down immediately even if the power switch is switched to the ready-to-drive state.
Therefore, please contact BYD Auto Authorized Service Store as soon as possible
.
Vehicle fire rescue
1. De-energize the vehicle to the "OFF" gear and disconnect the front-cabin start-up type
iron battery if possible.
2. Find a dry powder fire extinguisher nearby.
3. If the vehicle is on fire, the fire is smaller and slower. Please use the dry powder fire
extinguisher to extinguish the fire and call for help immediately.
4.
If the fire is on the scene and the development is fast, please stay away from the vehicle
and wait for rescue.
