The blades in this Bushranger Lawn Mower are designed to cut grass. Drier than normal conditions and foreign
objects can cause more wear. In time, these blades will wear and will need to be replaced in order to obtain
maintain a clean cut on your grass. To replace blades, follow the procedure set out below:
1.
Ensure that the engine is turned off and that all moving parts have come to a complete stop.
2.
Remove the spark plug lead from the spark plug.
3.
Set height adjuster to position 1-11 (Refer Page 8).
4.
Lower handles toward the ground and place heavy object on handles.
5.
Remove blade disc or blade by loosening centre-mounting bolts.
6.
Remove blades from disc by loosening mount bolts.
7.
Assembly is reversal of this procedure.

Stop engine and wait for all moving parts to come to a complete stop before attempting any of the above
checks.
•
Do not tip machine for maintenance with the engine running and/or with oil in the engine. Drain engine of oil
first if the machine must be tipped. This will ensure that oil does not run into the air filter, muffler or
carburettor.

Engine not starting

Check fuel and oil levels
•
Check “START-STOP” switch
•
Check throttle and choke positions
•
Ensure spark plug lead is connected

Refer to the engine manual
Unusual noise and/or vibrations

Check for loose blade/s –tighten blades
•
Check for obstructions under mower or in catcher –
clear obstruction
Engine running, blade not rotating
•
Shut the unit off and take directly to a Bushranger
servicing dealer for repair.
Mower clogging with material
•
Grass to damp to mulch correctly – Lift height
adjuster or allow grass to dry first
•
Mowing too much grass at once
