Connecting an AUX source device
Using the supplied 3.5mm audio cable, it is possible to
connect an external audio device eg: mp3 player to the
CSPK258WWi.
1:
Connect the

mm cable into the
AUDIO
input socket

on the rear of the unit .
2:
Connect the other end to your audio devices
headphone output or Line-out .
NOTE: The volume output is effected by the
volume level on the source EG: MP3 player, so
make sure that is set to about 70-80% ( not too
loud to avoid distortion).
NOTE: You will need to remove any docked iPod/
iPhone device to allow playback of the AUX input.
Powering on/off the speaker

Press & hold the
ON/STANDBY
button

to turn the
CSPK258WWi
ON
or press once to enter
STANDBY .
NOTE: an indicator will light up to indicate the unit
is ON.
Adjusting the volume
1:
Press the
VOL-

buttons to decrease or
increase the sound levels accordingly .

In the unlikely event of difficulties with your appliance

Solution
Your iPod does not
dock properly
• Make sure the dock insert is
the correct one for your iPod .
No Sound
• Make sure the system is
plugged in, your iPod/iPhone
is turned on & is playing a
track .
• Remove your iPod/iPhone
from the dock, wait briefly,
then reset it . You may need
to do this a few times .
• Make sure you have the
latest software on your iPod/
iPhone .
No sound after
quickly dock/
undocking your
iPod/iPhone
• Remove your iPod/iPhone
from the dock, wait 5s and
return to the dock .
• Unplug the power cable for
1 minute then plug back in
again .
