FM display information
When listening to an FM station you can change the information that will appear on the
display.
• Radiotext (RT) -
This is text information supplied by the broadcaster. Information could
be the name of an artist or music title, DJ’s name, contact details for the radio station
etc.
• Program Type (PTY) -
Such as ‘Rock’, ‘Pop‘, Talk’ or ‘News’
• Station name or frequency -
Such as BBC R4 or 93.30MHz
• Today’s date -
Supplied by the broadcaster.

Repeatedly short press the Menu/Info button to cycle through the different
information options.
AUX in mode
There is an AUX in 3.5mm socket on the rear or your radio,next to the headphone socket.
Using a 3.5mm audio input connection cable (not supplied), AUX in allows for a quick and
easy connection to an external sound source, such as MP3 or CD players, tablets or other
mobile products.
Check that your Radio is in AUX in mode. If you are not already in AUX in mode, short
press the Mode button until AUX is highlighted, then short press the rotary Tune/Select
control to go to AUX in mode (check the display).

Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio connection cable to the headphone (or
auxiliary out) socket of your secondary device, connect the other end to the AUX in
socket on the back of your Radio.

Press the Play button on your external device to start playback through the Radio
speakers.
To gain optimal volume levels, adjust the output volume level on both the secondary
device and on your radio.
Note:
Please remember to unplug the Audio cable from the AUX in socket on the back
of your radio, after you have finished listening to your external device.
