EMERGENCY MANUAL OVERRIDE
Remove the small
black
central plate on the front panel.
Insert the key into the keyhole and turn it counter
clockwise; the door will now open by turning the handle
in a clockwise direction.
CHANGING YOUR PERSONAL SECURITY CODE
Begin by opening the safe.
With the door open turn the handle to throw the bolts into
the locked position, then remove the key.
Press the red button (This is on the inside of the door on
the hinge side)
You will hear one signal tone and the yellow
LED
will light
up; you now have 20 seconds to start programming your code.
Enter the personal combination number that you wish to use;
your code can be between 3 and 8 digits. Now confirm your
entry by pressing the "C" button.
Your safe will emit a single tone to and show that the
programming was successful.
Now operate the safe several times with the door open to
ensure that your personal security code has been fully accepted.
SECURITY BLOCK OUT FEATURE
If you enter the wrong personal security code, you will hear
five
signal tones and the yellow
LED
will flash. If you enter
the personal security code wrong three times your safe will
enter a 20 seconds block out period. During this time the
lock will not react to any entries.
CHANGING THE BATTERIES
Open the battery cover on the back of the door; you can
now change the batteries.
