The red code setting button is located on the back of the door.
•
Please do operate the safe several times after setting the code before shutting the door.
•
Please turn back to previous step with failure indicating by sound or display
Clock time function:
•
Enter the menu system as previously instructed
•
Scroll to ‘Settings’ and select this option by pressing the red code setting button.
•
Scroll to ‘Time’ and select this option by pressing the red code setting button.
•
Use the down key to select the correct digits in the time and date using the red code setting
button to move to each new digit once you have set each correct part. N.B. The date is in
the format of Month, Day, Year (MM/DD/YYYY).
•
Once you have set the correct date and time save this by pressing the “Return” button.
Alarm function:
•
Enter the menu system as previously instructed
•
Scroll to ‘Settings’ and select this option by pressing the red code setting button.
•
Scroll to ‘Shake’ and select this option by pressing the red code setting button.
•
The factory default sets the alarm at low, you can change this here to medium or high, or
chose to turn the alarm off.
•
Once you have selected the setting you want save this by pressing the “Return” button.
•
If the alarm is set then it will be activated if the safe is vibrated. The alarm will silence after
about 60 seconds provided the vibration that caused it to go off has stopped. Alternatively
you can silence the alarm sooner by presenting a valid fingerprint.
Wrong code lockout function:
•
The lock system will lock out for 180 seconds and the alarm will sound for 20seconds if an
invalid fingerprint is input five times.
Override key lock function:
•
The override key hole is located behind the black oval cover on the bottom right-hand corner
of the keypad. The cover is metallic and is held in place by a small magnet.
•
Remove the override keyhole cover. Use a fingernail or the end of a small screwdriver to press
the cover in firmly its bottom edge, the top edge should now flick out.
