1.2 Definition of terms
In these instructions the term “device” denotes the following
device types: positioner Type 8694 REV.2.
The term “büS” (Bürkert system bus) used in this instruction
stands for the communication bus developed by Bürkert and
based on the CANopen protocol.
In these instructions, the abbreviation “Ex” always refers to
“potentially explosive area”.
