Wiring the PL-807 Backup light
to activate with your vehicle reverse lights:
After you have securely clamped your PL-807 backup lights onto your rear bumper. Locate your vehicle’s
reverse light wires from the underside of your vehicle. Check behind your tail lights, find the (positive and
negative ground) wires. Use the (supplied) easy “T-Taps” to tap directly onto each of these wires. Snap the
“T” taps securely around your existing wires. Now simply plug the white wire to your positive and black to
your negative. Use the zip ties to secure your wires & fuse box up under your vehicle to keep from damage.
With your emergency brakes on, start your vehicle and put it in reverse to check your lights.
**You have a choice on grounding your negative wire directly to your vehicle’s frame with the supplied “Spade”
connector. Locate a small bolt grounded to your frame and connect the ground wire using this connector.
