Configure Battery Information
Complete the following steps:
1.
Click
Change
in the
Battery Information
group box on the main configuration window to
display the
Power/Battery
configuration window (Figure 3-15). You can also display the
Power/Battery window either by clicking
Tools
>
Settings
>
Battery Information
or
pressing
F7
.

Select an option from the list that matches the type of battery installed in the unit in the
Battery Type
field.

If you installed the battery today and your computer is configured with the correct date and
time in Windows Control Panel, click the
Installed Today check
box and then click
Save
.

:
To set your computer with the correct date or time, click the
Start
button on the
Windows taskbar and then select
Settings > Control Panel > Date/Time
. Provide the correct
date and time in the
Date/Time
dialog box.

If you want to use a calendar to select the battery installation date, complete the following
steps:
a.
Click the down arrow in the
Installed Date
field to display the calendar (Figure 3-16).
