A transmission schedule is a scheduled data transmission at regular time intervals. The Bullhorn
unit uses the transmission schedule to determine when and how often the unit transmits a data
packet to your website account. The transmission schedule also serves as a health check by allowing
you to verify the input device, Bullhorn unit, and communication network (digital cellular or
satellite) are operating properly and ready to transmit alarms if detected. Refer to
Configure a
Transmission Schedule on page 75 for more information.
Alarm Delay
The
Alarm Delay
group box (Figure 3-8) shows the current configuration setting in the
Alarm Delay
field.

If the input device supports an alarm output and is connected to the
Chan
alarm input on the unit,
you can configure these units with an alarm delay that specifies how much time should pass
between recognized alarms. An alarm is sent immediately upon the initial receipt of a contact
closure on the alarm input. After the first closure, the amount of time specified by the alarm delay
must pass before another closure causes the unit to send another alarm. Refer to

Modbus Comm Settings
The

group box (Figure 3-9) displays current configuration settings.

The SDT16 units support communication protocols for Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII, Mercury,
Dresser, Reynolds 16-bit, and Reynolds 32-bit input devices. Refer to
