Configure a Transmission Schedule
Transmission schedule is a scheduled data transmission sent at regular intervals. The transmission
schedule you configure for the Bullhorn unit determines when and how often input channel
readings transmit to your website account.
As an option, you can include a SN Delay (serial number delay) in the transmission time. The last
three digits of the Bullhorn unit serial number serve as the number of seconds that are added to the
transmission time. Because each Bullhorn unit is assigned a unique serial number, using the SN
Delay allows you to configure all units with the same transmission time. The actual transmission
time is offset by the SN Delay to prevent all units from transmitting at exactly the same time.
As an option, you can include a delay in the transmission time. The delay prevents all units from
transmitting at exactly the same time. You can set the Transmit report to the same time for all of
your units, and if you check the Add Delay check box for a unit, that unit uses its serial number to
randomize the transmission time. The serial number is unique for each unit. So each unit will
transmit at a slightly different time.
Complete the following steps to configure the Bullhorn unit with a transmission schedule:

Click
Change
in the
Transmission Schedule
group box on the main configuration window
to display the
Transmission Schedule
configuration window.
You can also display the
Transmission Schedule
configuration window either by clicking
Tools
>
Settings
>
Transmission Schedule
or pressing
F6
.

Transmit report at
field by using the up
and down arrows.
