Cleaning and maintenance

ALWAYS UNPLUG THE SMART COOKING APPLIANCE WHEN IT IS NOT IN USE 

AND BEFORE CLEANING IT. DO NOT UNPLUG THE SMART COOKING APPLIANCE 

BY PULLING ON THE CABLE. DO NOT IMMERSE CABLE (6), PLUGS, BASE (4) 

AND BOTH HEATING ELEMENTS (1 and 2), OR THE SMART COOKING APPLIANCE 

ITSELF IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS, EITHER PARTIALLY OR TOTALLY.

1)

 BEFORE CLEANING THE SMART COOKING APPLIANCE, UNPLUG IT.

 Do not unplug it 

by pulling on the cable.

2) Wait for the smart cooking appliance to cool before fitting or removing parts and before cleaning the smart

cooking appliance.

3) The smart cooking appliance must be cleaned with a dry or slightly dampened non-abrasive cloth soaked

with a few drops of neutral non-corrosive detergent (never use solvents).

4) Clean all the surfaces of the smart cooking appliance.

5) The proximity touch screen display (10) containing the control and operating buttons must be cleaned only

with a soft and dry cloth.

6) To clean the glass heating elements (1 and 2) please remove them: firmly hold the glass heating element

by  the  pulling  levers  (7).  Pull  it  through  up.  Repeat  the  same  steps  with  the  other  heating  elements.

When removed put them on a flat surface and clean both sides with a dry or slightly dampened non-abrasive

cloth  soaked  with  water  or  a  few  drops  of  neutral  non-corrosive  detergent  (never  use  solvents).  After

cleaning the side with the protection glass (8) please open it to clean the inner glasses with a dry or slightly

dampened  non-abrasive  cloth  soaked  with  water  or  a  few  drops  of  neutral  non-corrosive  detergent  (never

use  solvents).  Before  re-position  the  glass  heating  elements  (1  and  2)  in  the  slots  of  the  smart  cooking

appliance base (4) to be used again, make sure that they are completely dry.

7) While the glass heating elements are removed, clean the lift (3) with a small brush.

8) To clean the crumb tray (5), just carry out the following steps:

a) Remove the crumb tray (5) from the smart cooking appliance base (4) by pushing on it. It comes automatically 

out by some millimeters and then pull it out.

b) Wash all the surfaces by hand and with neutral detergents.
c) 

MAKE SURE THAT IT HAS BEEN DRIED COMPLETELY BEFORE FITTING IT INTO 

THE SMART COOKING APPLIANCE AGAIN. BE SURE TO INSERT THE CRUMB TRAY 

INTO ITS GUIDES.
