Exchanging grinding and polishing discs
To exchange grinding and polishing discs, firstly ensure that the Power Head is raised from the platen, and
positioned away from the base using the locking handle.
Carefully lift away the used grinding or polishing disc from the magnetic platen, and replace with your next
appropriate disc.
Used SiC grinding discs can be placed into a zip-lock bag and placed in the nanoparticle waste bin.
Diamond abrasive discs should be cleaned with water and placed back into zip-lock bag. Place this
back into the grey storage drawers.
Reseal polishing cloth discs into a zip-lock bag, to ensure that it keeps wet. Place this back into
the grey storage drawers.
