Step 7
If required to eliminate excess length,
cut excess webbing at stitched cross
section of attachment end of long “D”
piece, burn end of webbing to prevent
fraying and unraveling of webbing
(carefully use a small flame such as
that from a cigarette lighter to melt
the webbing fibers).
WARNING:
DO NOT CUT WAIST
STRAP END.
Step 8
Now insert the Leg Strap
Retainer Anchor (I) through
the designated slot on the tail
piece of the Back Pad.
Note:
Shift buckle sideways
to allow for easier sliding
through slot in tail piece.
Note: Consider additional length to
accommodate for heavy clothing
prior to cutting.
