5. 1.2 Connection with the configuration tool (to change the IP address or upgrade a device’s internal software)
To search for devices connected to the network:
- Click the «Refresh» button; the tool will search for devices connected to the network and display them in the form of a
list (see chapter 5.1.1 for details of the interface).
To connect to a device:
- Highlight it (single click in the list).
- Click on button

(or double click on the highlighted line).
- The following window opens:

IP address Device IP address
User name Device user name
Password Device password
Port Device TCP port
Login Connection
Cancel Cancel
Click "Login" once the information has been entered.
If the following screen appears, this means that the device address is not in the same IP addresses segment as the PC on
which the configuration tool is currently running. It will therefore not be possible to connect.
- Manually modify the IP address by entering the desired new address.
- Click OK to save the new address in the device.
