To send out a tone burst; you simultaneously press the designated key while holding down the PTT key.
No further configuration is required to use this feature.
The following configurations will transmit accordingly:
• [PTT] + [FM] = Transmits 1450Hz Tone Burst
• [PTT] + [MONI] = Transmits 1750Hz Tone Burst
• [PTT] + [

] = Transmits 2100Hz Tone Burst
If you have the keypad lock enabled on your radio, you can still send a 1750Hz tone burst the regular
way without having to unlock your radio.
